This is Leila’s second collection of re-imagined traditional stories from indigenous cultures, in fact it’s the sequel to Folk Tales. Leila put the same level of research into it, and the same very personal “and-this-is-the-way-I-tell-it” touch, as she describes in her original Introduction to Folk Tales.
Leila dedicated the book “in loving remembrance” to the artist George Him, whose work had illustrated the first volume.
